The family history of involvement in the British Columbia (B.C.) Forest Industry of the present owners is traced back
to their great-great-grandfather, who, in the 1860's
pursued a logging career on B.C.'s West Coast.
The entrepreneurial spirit embedded throughout The Teal-Jones Group of companies started more than 60 years ago when
Jack Jones, founder of the original company, established a one man cedar roofing mill after his return from World War II.
Today wholly owned by sons Tom and Dick Jones the company prides itself as the largest privately held forest products
